Liverpool Football Club has enlisted the help of fans as it puts the finishing touches to its new website.
New LFC site It has put screen grabs online to show how the different sections will look and designers have even started a Twitter feed to get feedback and suggestions. The brief for the web team was to create a more stable site to avoid crashes and improved navigation. Additional elements will include a fan section to enable supporters to put up their own multimedia.
There will be a kids section for under 13s, RSS feeds, better access to videos for e-Season Ticket holders and improved match coverage. In an initiative that could be asking for trouble, the technicians have set up a Twitter feed so that fans can ask questions and make suggestions as the site is being developed. Currently 500 are following and reporting everything from crashes to checking what browsers the site has been tested on. The team has revealed that an Apple App (for iPhone/iPod Touch) is in the process of being made. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
