Liverpool FC has become the first Premier League Club to have an official Twitter presence.
3000 supporters follow their updates about life behind the scenes - well kind of - in fact it’s life behind the scenes of the club’s TV channel and official website.
The club says it launched the site to open up "new lines of communications with supporters, further improve our online interaction with fans and to reach passionate Reds from all over the world."
It comes ahead of the relaunch of Liverpool’s website, which is due to go live later this year.
Among the new features will be user generated content, videos and pictures.
Champions’ League rivals Chelsea have decided to follow suit to become the second official Premiership twitterers (136 followers so far).
