Love has released more details of the work it’s carried out for Microsoft, as reported on How-Do earlier this month.
Love's got Mail The digital arm of the agency has been charged with promoting the new and improved Hotmail service, now known as Windows Live Hotmail.Hotmail has, in the past, suffered from perception problems due to spamming, but Love’s work addresses this while also bringing attention to a host of new and improved features – such as ‘drag and drop’ and ‘auto spell check’. The team produced a two-pronged attack to target internal sales teams and external media agencies. A microsite was created for the internal audience, complete with slot machine, to help engage with the brand, while a mailer was produced with a ‘perception v reality’ booklet for media agencies throughout Europe. Love also produced t-shirts for the sales teams. Chris Conlan, client services director of Love digital said: "Microsoft wanted to inject some personality and fun in to both their internal and external direct marketing, and so approached Love with the project. The work was awarded to the agency without a pitch and following its success we have a number of other projects underway." Love’s digital team has got off to a flying start since opening its doors this year, while the wider agency is prospering thanks to a clutch of high profile new wins.
