There's been a management shake-up at Manchester online marketing specialist The Eword.
Managing director Al Mackin has taken on the role of chief executive while general manager Daniel Nolan will become MD.
The company said a string of new client wins has set the business on course to grow sales by 58% to £2.2m in the year to April 2012. It expects full-year profits to be up by 45%.
The management changes are designed to support further growth next year.
Mackin, who owns the business with Tom Glass, will take a more strategic approach to identify and support future opportunities while Nolan handles day-to-day business.
The firm, which has 21 staff, lined up work with law firms Ralli, Gateley and Pannone during the year. It already works with firms such as Betfred.com.
Mackin said: "I'm delighted with The Eword's 2011 financial results, which have surpassed our expectations in a challenging economic climate.
"We have a proven track record of delivering tangible results for our clients, and with a dedicated team of industry experts, our clients know that they can rely on us to provide excellent, and reliable, advice. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the outstanding team here, as this success is down to their hard work – it’s an amazing achievement, and they should be very proud of themselves.
