Liverpool-based digital agency Mando has been undertaking a major project for England's North Country, creating digital guides to sell the region's charms to long and short haul visitors from across the globe.
A nice destination
England's North Country is a marketing consortium that represents the north’s three regional development agencies to overseas tourists.
It commissioned Mando to work alongside 17 local tourist boards and sell the areas - a brief which the agency responded to with three separate creative campaigns, in four different languages, featuring an "edgy" city focus.
Speaking of the activity, Sue Lovell, acting director at England’s North Country commented: “We saw a number of agencies for this brief and we were impressed with Mando Group’s approach to understanding our target audiences and their creative execution.
"We have been delighted with the results – we’ve seen over 7,500 entries for a promotional campaign we ran in Australia, via the digital brochure, in just a few weeks.”
