Digital outfit Mando has announced that it is set to launch the Mando Group Foundation in the New Year, an initiative that will see "a significant portion of its profits" donated to charity.
To kick-start the scheme the Liverpool-based agency has challenged each of its members of staff to 'The Awesome £100 Challenge’. Johnson: positive difference This will see all 45 Mando staffers given £100 from the agency coffers and set the task of growing that sum by much as possible. All the proceeds raised will be added to the start up fund for the foundation, which will be managed by The Community Foundation for Merseyside.Speaking about the initiative, Mando Group’s CEO Matt Johnson commented: “We’ve started the Mando Group Foundation as a way for our company and our staff to make a positive difference. "The challenge should be a lot of fun for everyone and promises to raise many thousands of pounds for good causes”. The £100 competition runs through to the end of January, culminating in an award ceremony at the Foundation's official launch party. Mando informs us that 'the only rules are that the methods used to raise the cash must be legal, honest and decent'. Bang goes How-Do's suggestions then. www.mandogroup.com Something to add?
