Manning wins ‘fantastic’ female entrepreneur of the year prize | Print |  Email to a friend
Wednesday, 19 March 2008
Reading Room CEO Margaret Manning has been named at the female entrepreneur of the year at the 2008 Fast Growth Business Awards.

Manning was nominated for the gong last month and duly impressed the judging panel, which included Peter Jones of Dragon’s Den fame.

She said of her achievement: “It is fantastic to have won the female entrepreneur of the year award – I am absolutely overjoyed with it.

“ But of course, I wouldn’t have won this fantastic award were it not for the phenomenal success of Reading Room as a whole, which is down to having one of the very best teams in the digital communications industry.”

Manning is currently steering the growth of the Manchester, London and Sydney-based agency and is aiming to have secured a turnover of £25m by 2010 – a ten fold increase from the agency’s 2005 revenue.
