Marketecture launches new website for Business Post | Print |  Email to a friend

Business Post, which claims to be the UK’s largest independent parcel, mail and logistics services company, has relaunched its website following a redesign by marketing agency Marketecture.

Business Post, which claims to be the UK’s largest independent parcel, mail and logistics services company, has relaunched its website following a redesign by marketing agency Marketecture.

Marketecture, based in Manchester, won the brief last year following a pitch against three other agencies.

The company was initially recommended to Business Post through a contact of Marketecture’s marketing director, Max Clark, who had previously worked in the logistics industry.

The new site, www.businesspost.biz , has been built with two key purposes: to reinforce the brand’s perceived ‘premium’ service and to encourage greater interaction with visitors. Business Post customers now also have access to an improved dedicated area, where they can view real time delivery information and reports, request quotes and book services.

The site has built upon Marketecture’s proprietary ‘Optiva’ CMS platform. Phase two of the rebuild will be implemented over coming months. The company said that the site is already attracting over 100,000 visitors a day.

Nigel Procter, head of group marketing at Business Post, said:  “We operate in a dynamic and highly competitive market and to keep ahead of the game we need a web solution which provides complete flexibility to support our ambitious plans for growth.

"Our design and technical requirements on this project were complex due to the structure and changing needs of our business but we now have a fantastic platform on which we can continue to develop our online marketing strategy.

“We were impressed by the amount of time invested upfront in working with us to define the site navigation and information architecture to reflect the way our business works in reality. We think this has resulted in a far more engaging visitor experience which we intend to develop even further based on the analytics we will have access to.”

Marketecture will also be delivering a digital marketing strategy which initially will involve  SEO, PPC and email campaigns and a series of product specific microsites as part of an online conversion strategy.
