Moom has released its latest viral offering in an effort to help LA based author Dianne Zimmerman cast a spell over US girls aged 11 to 13.
Just magic? Kandide The Manchester-based viral marketing agency has created an animated short for the first of a trilogy of children’s books about the character Kandide. The ad, made to publicise Kandide & The Secret of the Mists, features a ‘movie-style’ musical score and English accented voiceover. Moom’s Russ Hirst explained the thinking behind it: "Both the publisher and the author specifically wanted an animated viral, featuring the Kandide character in her illustrated book form, so greater emphasis was given to the narration and the score to ensure that the production had a magical feel to it, which reflects the story line and the character." He continued: "Further to that, everybody knows that Americans love the English accent, so we wanted to work with that in mind with the narration and develop a viral that was reflective of the genre and quite grand in it's production." Moom has now been contracted to work on future viral ads for the Kandide trilogy once subsequent books are released. You can see the viral ad here Something to add?
