The final phase of the development of Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth Bid web site has gone live this month. It has been developed by the Reading Room in Manchester.
The previous version of the site was designed to offer information about the bid but it was primarily intended to co-ordinate and foster support from across Scotland. With over 1.7m signatories to date, it would appear that initial objective has been achieved.
The final version of the site said Rob Shorthouse, the bid’s head of PR and Media “communicates more information about the bid itself and provides more technical information about venues and logistics.”
The decision on the location of the winning city will be in Sri Lanka on 9 November 2007.
