New Mind co-founder and MD Richard Veal has been short listed for the IOD North West’s Young Director of the Year gong, a prize the 39 year old said he is honoured to be in contention for.
New Mind man Veal Veal will fight it out against three other nominees, none of whom are from the media and marketing industry, for the prize. He will find out if he’s been successful at an awards ceremony on 18 September at the City of Manchester Stadium, where TV’s Gaby Logan, the anchor of the BBC’s Inside Sport, will take on presenting duties. Veal said of the nomination: “I’ve always respected these awards and the caliber of the organisations involved. I am very much looking forward to next month’s event.” Liverpool’s New Mind is a decade old this year and has achieved success through its widely used e-tourism solutions. The agency now employs more than 50 members of staff. www.newmind.co.uk
