Northwest Vision and Media is currently hunting for consultants who can help it deliver a new training programme aimed at tackling the perceived skills shortage facing the regional digital industry.
Research has indicated to NWVM that there is a shortage of mid to senior level staff with the appropriate design and development skills currently working in the sector. It is therefore looking to initiate a programme of workshops over the next 12 months to help bolster the talents of senior designers and developers within the regional marketplace. To help achieve this the support body is now tendering for consultants to customise and deliver the learning scheme, which it is looking to commence before the end of March. The programme, and therefore the consultants, will be concentrating on areas such as ‘rich internet applications for developers’, multiplatform technologies and Web 2.0 / Web 3.0 applications (there’s a Web 3.0 now? Ed). If you’d like to find out more about the consultant positions you can do so here www.visionandmedia.co.uk Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
