PJ Web Solutions is offering manufacturing businesses an easy way to get online and increase their transactions, thanks to a new grant from the European Regional Development Fund.
Manufacturing a web presence Walkden-based PJ has received a 50% ERDF grant through the Manchester Manufacturing Institute. This enables the firm to effectively cover half of the costs of creating new e-commerce sites for regional manufacturing businesses that are eager to harness the power of the web. Agency co-founder Sarah Jackson explained: “As an approved supplier of the Manufacturing Institute we applied to them, on behalf of our clients, for a European Regional Development Fund grant. “This money was made available to encourage manufacturers to embrace e-commerce in order to sell their services on-line. “Industries in this sector have often stuck to using the more traditional means of selling to their customers and the Manufacturing Institute wants to encourage them to embrace the internet in order to reach new markets.” The grant has recently enabled PJ to create the new website for Tindall Engineering Ltd in Oldham, which manufactures high security locks and systems. www.mico-tindall.co.uk www.pjweb.co.uk
