The newly staffed up Manchester office of digital agency Quba has revealed that it was behind the successful online marketing push for last weekend’s Gatecrasher Summer Sound System.
Planning for the one off clubbing event – billed as the UK’s biggest ever dance music festival – apparently began last year, when Quba built a microsite and e-commerce system for Gatecrasher, helping them to save on commissions payable to third party ticketing agencies. Quba then masterminded the online spend for the event, focusing on targeting music web sites and popular social networking destinations. As a result of this the agency claims a ROI of 2488 per cent on its Goggle spend, a Facebook click through rate of 4.7 per cent and ‘conversions to purchase’ of 12 per cent. Gatecrasher’s electronic marketing manager Jamie Wilkins said that the results were “beyond our expectations.” http://www.quba.co.uk http://summersoundsystem.com
