Reading Room CEO up for ‘Female Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award |

Margaret Manning, the CEO of Manchester and London-based digital agency Reading Room, has been nominated as one of only four finalists in this year’s Fast Growth Business Award’s ‘Female Entrepreneur of the Year’ category.
 Manning: one to watch Manning is one of the highest profile females in the largely male dominated new media sector. She holds numerous industry positions, including vice-chair for the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA), while also sitting as a member of the BBC External New Media Advisory Group.In 2007 she was named among the top 50 people to watch in the media in the Observer Courvoisier Future 500. She will find out about the Fast Growth accolade in an event at the London Marriot on 12 March. Manning is reported to have ambitious growth plans for the business, which currently employs 150 staff, and aims to increase Reading Room’s turnover to £25m in 2010 (a ten fold increase on its 2005 turnover). www.readingroom.com Something to add?
