Nettlemill joins the Wilmslow digital agency from McCann Erickson Manchester where he has been interactive planning director for three years.

At Pavilion he will be responsible for developing and implementing creative strategies for clients including Siemens Enterprise Communications. He will also manage the agency’s client services team and will be contributing to the agency’s business development plans.

“What excites me about Pavilion” said Nettlemill “is the way the team works seamlessly across online and offline channels and between creative and media disciplines. Campaigns are driven not by agency service function but by a client’s business requirements.

"This approach enhances our ability to deliver the best work for our clients; however the shape and balance of communications channels develop.”

Nettlemill began his career in marketing at US conglomerate Tyco in 1994.

He joined BT in 1997 to help establish the Electronic Channels Marketing team. His role was to define how BT’s online and offline channels should work together.

He moved north to McCann Erickson in 2003 to become the agency’s interactive planning director working on a variety of sectors financial services, travel, retail, B2B and the public sector.

In March this year, Marketing Week magazine included him in its list of ‘Rising Marketing Stars’.
