Manchester’s Studio North has launched a new website for Blue Ginger, a network of Greater Manchester Chinese and Thai takeaway restaurants.
The agency says it’s used functionality and specifications that would normally be more at home on a large, national operator’s site.
It’s included full online ordering and a “meal-builder” where customers can choose meats, sauces and side dishes plus extras and get the exact price straight away. Takeaway regulars can become members and login to retrieve previous orders.
“The new site really is the online face of Blue Ginger and in many ways it’s our future as more and more of our clients turn to the Internet,” said Blue Ginger’s Gary Ho.
“The team at Studio North has done a great job in bringing our vision to life and we are proud to now offer an even better online presence than many of our national competitors within the take away sector."
In addition to the practical ordering functions, there is information about the ingredients and its policy of non-MSG cuisine.
“Although it’s a relatively small chain of restaurants, Gary and his team were determined that the new website should be a spring board for their planned growth. The site now offers customers a comprehensive ordering and information resource that is up there with those of the so called ‘big boys.’” said Nick Wright, partner & creative director at Studio North.
