According to Text Internet Marketing some businesses are missing out on online revenue due to the fact that their websites fail to exploit the opportunities offered by Google’s foray into the browser market with its Chrome application.
Chrome launched less than a month ago and, according to industry figures, has already secured roughly 1 per cent of the browser market.

Although this lags considerably behind Internet Explorer (74 per cent) and Mozilla (18 per cent), it is early days and, with Google’s brand cachet behind it, Chrome’s appeal and influence is expected to spread rapidly.
Text claims that, unlike some competitors, all of its content management systems are fully compatible with Chrome and ready to take advantage of this fresh virtual playing field.
Business development manager Graeme Hastings noted: "I suspect those who download Chrome are amongst the most web savvy and many will play a part in web procurement.
“We design and build all of our websites so that they are compliant with web standards therefore we are confident that our websites are displayed correctly."
