Your company's or organisation's website is your shop window. Just how well is it working for you and how much better could it work for you? This major How-Do conference on Thursday 25 June brings together outstanding digital professionals from across the UK who will will provide delegates with an insight into the latest developments in digital marketing, social media integration, web technology and web evaluation and search engine optimisation.
Last Thursday over 80 delegates from a variety of companies and organisations enjoyed a full, informative and enjoyable day at How-Do's and Don't Panic Projects' Maximising and Evaluating Your Digital Presence conference.

The one day conference at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester was headline sponsored by Mediaedge:cia and was additionally supported by our event partners Amaze, Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and Virtual Surveys

Delegates heard from and participated in a number of presentations and workshops delivered by leading digital exponents from across the UK.

Delegates were drawn from a wide variety of sectors: from financial services companies to the leisure industry, even an orchestra, printers genning up, professional services firms  and a number of agencies and public sector bodies.

The morning’s plenary speakers included:

The afternoon offered delegates opportunities to participate in different work shop sessions delivered by Amaze, UKFast, Virtual Surveys, MediaEdge:cia and Manchester Metropolitan University Business School.

Topics discussed throughout the day ranged from Nick Gassman’s content-driven presentation on getting your web site consistently right through regular and rigorous monitoring and evaluation through to Tillson’s and Fitzgerald’s views on maximising the opportunities presented by social media. Tony Wood shared insights into how N Brown has generated substantial and additional new sales and opportunities for itself online by ensuring it works most effectively and smarter with those who most directly influence the web.

Phil Jones of Brother was a late speaker, replacing Natasha Towey of Bank of America who was unfortunately unable to present. Jones however, more than made up for the late change by providing a challenging view of how the corporate client can best respond to and adopt the new media rapidly emerging. Dinosaurs don't survive long in Jones' world. 

The evaluation reports are now complete and How-Do and our event partners, Don’t Panic Projects, are delighted that the overwhelming majority of delegates rated the speakers, content and event management very good or outstanding.
