Manchester’s theEword has been taken on to provide SEO work and ongoing content management for the launch of new laptop comparison site www.shoplaptop.co.uk
The site has just launched and, thanks to theEword’s search optimisation endeavours, has apparently achieved a Google global search ranking of position eight on its primary keyword ‘laptops’.
In tandem with this theEword team is also claiming that the site occupies ‘page one positions’ on over 500 keyword Google searches.
The agency is now working to ensure these positions are maintained through continued site and content management, providing features such as laptop user guides, product information and reviews.
It will also be guiding the PPC strategy for ShopLaptop.
Al Mackin, the founder and MD of theEword, said of the account: “We are delighted that ShopLaptop have chosen theEword to oversee their SEO and PPC management going forward.
“The optimisation that we have carried out has delivered strong placements within Google, but this can be taken to the next level with the expertise of our marketing and content teams.”
