Property developer Urban Splash has relaunched its website following several months of development work by B&W Studio and Elevator.
A number of agencies pitched for the brief in 2007. The creative work was eventually awarded to Leeds design agency B&W Studio with the back-end work and construction handled by Elevator in Manchester.
Urban Splash’s original website, which was launched in 2002, was created by I-D media in London.
Lisa Ashurst, head of communications at the property company said: "Our old site was considered cutting-edge when we launched it but things have moved considerably on for us and technology since then.
“We needed a flexible, fresh new look capable of more functionality than our previous flash based presence. It’s now much more information and image rich with improved functionality for property searches. We hope to be expanding the functionality in other areas in the future.”
Urban Splash has grown since 2002 from a primarily North West developer into one which has offices across the UK.
The new site also incorporates a number of micro sites relating to specific Urban Splash projects including Chips in New Islington, Manchester www.chipsforsale.co.uk and Morecambe’s Midland Hotel www.midlandmorecambe.co.uk
B&W’s other clients include Eureka! the Childrens Museum and Republic.
Elevator’s other clients include Microsoft, BBC, AXA, Laing O'Rourke and Skype.
