McCann-i has headhunted 36 yr old Wesley Hogg, the creative responsible for digital offerings from Orange, Kia motors and Triumph Motorcycles, as its new creative director to work alongside clients services director Mark Kelly.
Wesley Hogg
Hogg was previously based in Bristol digital agency E3’s London office from where he oversaw E3’s digital creative output. E3 employs 50 staff between Bristol and London. Prior to E3 he was at Rufus Leonard and Syzygy.
At McCann-i he will be working on accounts including Aldi, Durex and Britannia Building Society.
Around 30 staff are employed at McCanns digital operation at Prestbury. However, it is McCann’s integrated approach and 300 staff resource which he said most excited about this new challenge. “With such a substantial number of marketing specialists under one roof, the potential for generating truly creative big ideas is amazing – and with digital at the heart of it all. The lack of silos at this agency is truly refreshing.”
Hogg has won an interactive BAFTA for his work on marconicalling.com and has picked up several awards from Yahoo, Design Week, and Revolution over the past ten years.
