Following a five-way pitch, DIY and home improvement company Wickes has appointed McCanns’ digital division to provide digital marketing support to the retailer.
The win for the Prestbury agency will not affect Wickes’ below the line activities which are handled by TBWA\Manchester.
McCanns will be offering a comprehensive range of activities: from online media planning and buying to creative, ECRM, data modelling and usability research.
Simon Holder, director of e-commerce at Wickes said: “We are confident McCanns can help us capitalise on the growth of this rapidly expanding market. With digital accounting for an increasing amount of our business, it’s essential to offer the best and most enjoyable shopping experience for our online customers.”
The Wickes business follows other recent digital wins for the agency including Vision Express and Peacocks.
