Music website Hype Machine has selected woot!media to handle its exclusive online sales contract after impressing the client on an initial sales brief.
The site, which operates as a MP3 and music blog aggregator, is looking to monetise its 1.6m monthly unique user figure and make the most of its claim that site visitors spend around seven times the national monthly average on music.
Austen Kay from w00t!media noted: "Users of the site are in an ideal position to respond and interact with well placed advertising. w00t!media will be bringing both music related and other relevant brands on board."
The firm, which has its head office in Manchester, has already booked a BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 'takeover' on Hype Machine and campaigns from Adidas and American Apparel.
