60 submissions to join NWDA’s design roster | Print |  Email to a friend
Tuesday, 29 May 2007
Over 60 submissions were received at the NWDA, from design and related agencies, to get on the development agency’s next three year roster for design and promotional work.

The final shortlist is being whittled down to less than ten and presentations will start shortly with a view to the successful agencies being in place for 1 September. There is an option for a fourth year to be added to the contracts.

Head of marketing at the NWDA, Nigel Dove, would not comment on the value of the work but it is thought that the total amount that will be commissioned over four years will run into several millions of pounds. All he would say was that “there had been an exceptionally high level of interest in the open tender.”

The agency’s media planning and buying is not related to this mandatory review. PHD North won the media account six months ago.

The current agencies on the roster include Hemisphere, Madhouse, Creative Lynx, Loines Furnival, Refinery Group and Kaleidoscope.

The Agency has also just closed off its submission date for recruitment agencies to submit expressions of interest for the NWDA’s recruitment advertising needs.
