Manchester delicatessen and café chain, Love Saves the Day, has brought in 999 Design to change its brand identity.
The companies worked together earlier this year when 999 was commissioned to design the packaging across LStD’s product range.
With a brief to stay away from traditional labelling, they created distinctive illustrations of 1950’s Americana.

“We are delighted to be continuing our work with Love Saves the Day. It is a highly innovative company that requires a visible brand identity to match its contemporary attitude to food and drink,” said Andy Helme, Managing director of 999 Manchester.
“We believe the designs we have produced encapsulate Love Saves the Day’s personality, vibrancy and uniqueness at the heart of Manchester’s burgeoning food scene and I look forward to building on our productive relationship in the future.”
“The launch of our Love Saves the Day pickles range was a success because the design team at 999 Manchester invested genuine passion and creativity into our product, right from the outset, to ensure it stood out in the marketplace,” added Love Saves the Day owner Chris Joyce.
“The same can be said for the creative approach that 999 has shown in coming up with our eye-catching new brand identity, which will better reflect the individuality of our business while at the same time provide a more cohesive structure and recognisable image across our product range.”
The award-winning company, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2007, has a 45-strong design and communications team working across its three offices in London, Glasgow and Manchester.
