The Manchester office of marketing agency 999design has won three new accounts: Blackburn Rovers, St Helens RLFC and Cityco, the former Manchester City Centre Management Company.
The agency won the Rovers account following a pitch against four other agencies. The first project for the agency will be to develop a campaign to promote the club’s corporate hospitality offering.
Simon Williams, Rovers head of marketing said: “The level of conceptual thinking was head and shoulders above everyone else and we are sure that this eye catching teaser campaign will score well with our target customers.”
For St Helens, the current World Club Champions, 999’s first project has been to create an eight page brochure targeting local and regional businesses in an attempt to increase e the level of sponsorship the club presently attracts.
The final new piece of business is from Cityco, an association of city centre retailers and businesses in Manchester which have come together to promote the city centre as the key regional destination for shopping and commerce. 999’s brief is to help the body attract new members through a variety of marketing platforms.
The agency was established in 1982 in Glasgow and has a further office in London. In total there are 47 employees across the three offices.
