Alistair Sim, the co-founder and perceived driving force behind LOVE Creative, is to join design agency The Chase at the beginning of June.
Sim
Sim stepped down from LOVE last November when he was sentenced to four months imprisonment suspended for 12 months after he appeared before Stockport Magistrates Court following an early morning fracas involving his former partner.
Sim’s role, which carries board responsibilities, will include development of agency’s digital opportunities and it us understood he will also be heading up new business and corporate development at the Hasgrove plc-owned agency.
Casey
Commenting on the appointment, Ben Casey, co-founder and creative director of The Chase, said: “Alistair’s experience, particularly in the digital arena, will provide a valuable stimulus to The Chase. Alistair possess all of the credentials to help take the business forward in the coming years, which is as important a consideration for us as the immediate advantages his appointment creates. We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing him on board at this time.”
Sim added: “ I have been a long-time admirer of The Chase.
“Ben and his team have built up one of the most successful creative businesses in the UK and I’m looking forward to contributing towards the next chapter in that story.”
