The merger of Connectpoint, Pavilion and Amaze under the unified Amaze Plc banner has been delayed slightly… but it’s certainly not due to any financial concerns for parent firm Hasgrove Plc.
Hasgrove yesterday announced to the stock market that it had enjoyed a 78 percent jump in first-half pre-tax profits, rising to £1.98m for the six months ending in June.
Revenue for the ambitious marketing communications group rose 62 percent to £16.37m.
Chief executive Rod Hyde used the statement to outline a rosy picture “despite the general market conditions” and opined that the team “remain confident of another successful year, particularly given the high visibility of earnings.”
The disclosure also noted that Hasgrove was focusing on integrating its recent acquisitions into the group structure, as evinced by its stated aims for Amaze.
However, this has been delayed slightly with the original merger date of 15 September having passed by and a new deadline of mid to late October now imposed.
The firm has also been required to find new Manchester city centre offices to move its headquarters into, after an agreement with an original building and landlord fell through.
As such a spokesperson for the group informed How-Do that the new company would not now be moving under one roof until spring next year.
Pavilion recently relocated to temporary offices in the city centre to be nearer to its two sister firms.
The agency had been stationed in Wilmslow for the last 11 years.
