BDH\TBWA picks up Jessops relaunch business |

Following a three way pitch, national photographic retailer, Jessops, has appointed BDH\TBWA to support the relaunch of the brand’s new strategy with a seven figure marketing campaign.
BDH\TBWA will begin work immediately on various ‘integrated’ campaigns for the retailer which will include advertising, point-of-sale, online and internal communications.
The media business with Universal McCann in Birmingham is unaffected by the new appointment. Brian Linnington, marketing director of the Leicester based company said: “BDH are real brand advocates and we’re taking the journey together to move the Jessops brand forward in a new and exciting direction.”
In addition to a greater focus on web and digital delivery, the company is reducing its number of stores nationally to 230 but says it is still keen to open or acquire new stores in areas selectively.
The company claims its web site receives over 50 million hits a month and highlights the fact that two leading publications, Practical Photography and Digital Photo, have voted Jessops their Photo Retailer Of The Year for the past eleven years.,
