Manchester’s Bird Consultancy has won the PR account for The Football Conference and has just launched a new awards ceremony for the league.
"This is a fantastic account for us. The Football Conference represents football at a very important level and impacts on our communities greatly, this is something I’m extremely passionate about. It’s going to be a pleasure working with them," said Chris Bird.
Bird spent 5 years at Manchester City Football Club as chief operating officer and board director. The new account win has started with the announcement of The Football Conference Sportsmanship Awards which will honour good behaviour by players to support the Football Association’s Respect campaign. "From the initial meeting, Bird won us over with their creativity and expertise. Bird Consultancy has been involved in many sporting initiatives over the years, so we knew we were in safe hands and envisage a fruitful relationship," added Brian Lee, Chairman of The Football Conference. The new win adds a further sports client to Bird’s roster which already includes Sportstours International and physiotherapy specialists Harris & Ross. Something to add?
