Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster has collected the UK PR task for jewellery group Aurum Holdings, a task that will see the team promoting Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland and the recently launched mydiamonds.com.

The business, won following on from a competitive pitch process, will see Brian Beech’s team working on a national strategy that will aim to forge closer emotional ties between the brands and their consumers.

Regional PR and marketing support also makes up an important component of the brief.

Aurum, which is owned by Icelandic investment group Baugur, is the world’s largest distributor of ‘luxury brands’ such as Omega, Tag Heuer and Gucci, and the UK's largest distributor for Rolex, Cartier and Breitling.

Agency director Melissa Hinds said of the win: “We are delighted to be working with such a successful and inspiring group of brands and look forward to strengthening each brand’s position as one of the UK’s leading luxury retailers.
