BJL has been appointed to launch a ground-breaking initiative targeting domestic violence, on behalf of Hull Teaching Primary Care Trust.
Johnson The social marketing campaign will target the perpetrators of domestic violence and the Manchester agency was appointed by the COI. "This is a powerful statement we are making, looking at what we can do in our own communities, where we can have real influence," said Secretary of State for Health Alan Johnson. "We appointed BJL as their knowledge, passion and ability to deliver our programme shone out," added Project leader, Louise Robinson. "The Freedom from Fear campaign in Australia is the only other social marketing campaign targeting perpetrators and we are looking to emulate the success of that campaign here in Hull." "It’s a challenging project, where we will improve life chances across the city. It needs to be handled sensitively and is a campaign we are privileged to be working on," said Charlotte Thompson, director at BJL. BJL won the contract in a competitive tender against three other COI roster agencies. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
