Could it be the dream job for big kids everywhere? A role that transforms your work time into playtime and lets you get to grips with little plastic bricks all day. If you think you could be a model LEGO employee then read on...
Consumer PR agency Brazen, always on the sniff for ways to up coverage for its clients, has come up with a novel idea for the new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, opening next March. LEGO: facing the future The firm is now publicising the vacant job role of 'model builder' at the Trafford Centre-based attraction and is organising auditions for the position this Friday.Attendees at the 'interviews', taking place at The Lowry Hotel, will be expected to demonstrate their dexterity with the building blocks by crafting a LEGO animal in fifteen minutes. If they impress at this level the second stage challenges them to fashion a celebrity face - maybe two if there are enough bricks on hand for a couple of Jedward quiffs - to showcase their adaptability and creativity. Neil Criitenden, general manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, commented: “We are holding open auditions to find the most talented and enthusiastic model builders. "It is an unusual job available and we hope to meet some LEGO fanatics from the North West. "We are looking for someone with a great sense of fun and thought that holding an open audition would be the ideal way to find the perfect candidate.” The winner of the auditions will take on a role developing new features, exhibitions and building models, as well as working with the children visiting the attraction. Expect to see the results in the local media near you very soon. www.brazen-world.com Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
