Brazen has beaten two other PR agencies to win a wide-ranging brief from The Grocery Company Ltd that will see the team promoting Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauces, alongside Pizza Express, Wagamama and Cranks branded product lines.
Brazen has beaten two other PR agencies to win a wide-ranging brief from The Grocery Company Ltd that will see the team promoting Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauces, alongside Pizza Express, Wagamama and Cranks branded product lines.

The win means the agency will now be working alongside fellow Mancunian Love, which is apparently readying itself to launch a new advertising campaign for the Peri-Peri range from May onwards.

According to Brazen its activity will seek to directly compliment this thrust, promoting the sauces as the perfect way to bring the unique atmosphere of the Nando’s restaurant chain into the home.

This will be achieved through both on and offline activity.

Leah Watson, account director at Brazen, said of the new business: ““The Nando’s Peri-Peri ethos is all about fun and challenging conventions, a real Brazen trait.

“When it comes to putting fun into food we know how to create massive talkability that has a measurable impact on client’s bottom lines.

“Much of this has been award winning work, including creating the world’s most expensive marmalade for Duerrs, developing a Stilton perfume, and installing a Vimto tap into the home of a cordial mad family, so we can’t wait to get our teeth into Nando’s.”

The win marks another high-profile consumer scalp for Brazen. It is believed that the two other agencies involved in the pitch were Tangerine and Primo.
