Brazen launches ‘experience trading community’ website Sweemo today | Print |  Email to a friend
Tuesday, 15 April 2008
A new website which is set to offer ‘unique and desirable experiences’ is being launched in Manchester today by consumer PR agency Brazen.

Sweemo is being heralded as the first website of its kind, offering, according to the pre-launch publicity, “the sort of unique life ‘perks’ usually reserved for celebrities and the super-rich.”

A new website which is set to offer ‘unique and desirable experiences’ is being launched in Manchester today by consumer PR agency Brazen.
Fancy a cookery lesson?
These are set to include packages such as cooking lessons from famous chefs, massages from celebrities and VIP backstage passes for a cornucopia of live events.

Site users will bid on obtaining these through an online auction system, while dating features and ‘experiential concepts’ will be added as the site aims to build a community and tap into the social networking scene.

Visitors will also be able to describe their ‘dream’ experiences and ask the community to make them a reality.

The site is being pitched as a way of connecting corporate and private audiences, allowing brands to build online presence and score valuable PR points.

Brazen is launching Sweemo to a VIP business audience at the Malmaison today, with the site itself going live on 11 June.

Sweemo MD Jay Nguyen described the concept as such: “(it) gives everyone the opportunity to access special experiences that simply aren’t available in any other marketplace.”

“Sweemo is so much more than just an online auction. We are motivating and inspiring people to recognise the incredible experiences within their own lives and making them available to others. They can be weird, wild or wonderful – so long as they can be enjoyed.”
