Staff at Brazen proved they’re happy to get into bed with clients last week… along as the beds in question are motorised and they can be firmly strapped down in them.
A typically Brazen stunt
For those of you that may be choking on your Rich Teas out there, fear not.
The bed that Sasha Blake and Vanessa Lee shared with client Best Western was put to use purely to tour the capital in a one off stunt to promote the hotel chain’s 30th birthday and its £30 celebratory room rates.
In addition to the ‘blanket’ coverage the team managed to score with the motorised mattress, they also produced a six-foot birthday cake, which was unveiled in Manchester’s Spinningfields and then delivered to media contacts.
Agency MD Rick Guttridge said that the innovative actions had gained the brand media attention from as far a field as the US and Italy, while in the UK pick-up was widely spread across national and regional press and radio stations.
He also confirmed to How-Do that the task was a one off project and would not affect Communiqué’s position on the account.
