Carter joins the recently expanded team with an established pedigree in media planning and buying, and will now be looking to help MC2 clients get the most from their marketing budgets.

His CV boasts a stint at Capital Radio, where he was a business development manager, and a tenure as MD of Jamm Works, which printed A Place in the City and A Place in the Country.

He also handled the media buying accounts for T-Mobile and Carphone Warehouse at Matters Media and, until MC2 came knocking, worked in a senior role at Mediaedge CIA Manchester.

He said of the move: “I’m joining a strong and growing team, with an enviable client list, in a role where I can add real value to the service provided. ”

Nathalie Bagnall, managing director of MC2, added: “Appointing Tony to head up our dedicated media planning team is a key strategic move for MC2.

“He is a highly experienced media professional with the level of expertise we needed to offer a best-in-class service to clients, and his skills and contacts will be invaluable to us moving forward.”
