Following a three way pitch, Brazen PR has been tasked by CBS Outdoor, to help build its profile, both with media agencies and with direct clients outside London.
Brazen won the work in competition with Connectpoint and Crush.
CBS Outdoor, formerly Viacom, is one of the leading outdoor advertising companies in the UK. It manages sites on buses, trams, the London Underground, the DLR, and national rail networks.
Both Clear Channel and Primesight, key CBS Outdoor competitors, have recently restructured their regional sales operations and Manchester will also shortly see the arrival of Ocean, a London company which specialises in major sites.
In Liverpool, Trinity North West has formed a JV – Street TV - with Street Broadcast to exploit Street Broadcast’s growing range of static and interactive, high street outdoor poster sites.
Maria Clarke, CBS’ head of regional sales, said: “With three quarters of people’s time now spent out of the home, outdoor advertising is becoming increasingly valuable to advertisers wanting to reach the UK’s consumers on the move.”
Outdoor advertising revenue remains buoyant in contrast to the difficulties being experienced by print, TV and radio. http://www.cbsoutdoor.co.uk/ Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
