Lane said she was looking forward to the new challenge and was “hoping to use my experience of working on a large news desk to positive effect.
“I have a strong working knowledge of how the media works and national newspaper contacts which I hope will benefit IPB in the coming months.”
Ingham The agency’s MD, Stewart Pimbley added: “We have mainly recruited journalists for their knowledge of the media – first hand experience of a busy newsroom is invaluable.
“Claire’s national newspaper experience will be a real asset and will be used to good effect when working with clients on media crisis work and media training.”
