Clear Marketing has unveiled a major new press, poster and radio campaign for McArthurGlen’s portfolio of seven designer outlets across the UK.

Clear Marketing has unveiled a major new press, poster and radio campaign for McArthurGlen’s portfolio of seven designer outlets across the UK.
The new campaign
The new activity, in advance of a 70% sale at the outlet malls, uses the messages ‘prepare for your biggest ever shopping trip’ and ‘you’re going to need a bigger car’ to communicate to customers the value of the offers that are (literally) in store for them.

Creative director Tony Price said of the work: “Sales are a critical time for retailers, none more so than in the current economic climate, so creating cut through and standout is everything.

“We have communicated the key sale message is an engaging and creative way, without losing the brand essence of top quality designer brands for less and appeal to core female audiences.”

Clear is working with each of the seven individual centres (namely Cheshire Oaks in Chester, Ashford, Bridgend, East Midlands, Livingston, Swindon and York) on local levels to increase consumer awareness of the upcoming sale.

The firm secured the £1m account with McArthurGlen earlier this year. Media buying is handled by Carat.
