The Co-Operative Group has launched a one-stop shop media centre to help marketing companies advertise across the entire business.

As previously reported on How-Do the company’s brought in tools including digital screens, POS, radio, direct mail and magazines.

They have teamed up with digital retail agency, abc media, to make the Media Centre work.

"We are the first major retailer to adopt this innovative, co-ordinated approach to in-house media targeting consumers at the point of purchase," said head of commercial marketing at The Co-operative, Susan Beetlestone.

"At a time of media fragmentation and changing consumer habits we can offer brands a unique opportunity to reach millions of regular shoppers and members. We are committed to becoming a credible media owner and delivering results for advertisers."

They will be running a series of seminars for agencies and brands at the end of the month.
