Communications agency Koan which promotes itself as an agency with a distinctively ethical stance has appointed two new members of staff.
Anne Geddes joins the agency as an account director and Laura Bimpson as head of media relations. Geddes was previously with the leading North West law firm Hill Dickinson where she spent three years as corporate affairs and communications manager. She has ten years experience from her time managing internal and external communications. Her clients at Koan will include Marshalls plc, National Express and two national charities: the Children’s Education Foundation and in Control. Bimpson was previously assistant head of public relations at Greater Manchester Police where she oversaw the day-to-day running of the PR department. She spent six years with the GMP where, unsurprisingly, she gained plenty of experience dealing with high profile crisis management issues. Koan was established in 2002. The consultancy works with charities and non-governmental organisations as well as on ‘cause-related’ campaigns and corporate social responsibility (CSR) for consumer clients. www.koanuk.com Something to add?
