The ex-creative director of Connectpoint, prior to its recent merger into the consolidated Amaze brand, has been taken on by Refinery Marketing Communications.
 Pye: creative Simon Broadbent, known by many in the industry as Bertie, has landed at Manchester’s Refinery in the position of deputy creative director.He has been joined at the firm by Nikki Moore, who comes on board as senior designer from BJL. The addition of the two new staffers makes Refinery one of the biggest marketing service agencies in the city with 78 members of staff. Recent client wins over the past 12 months include Akzo Nobel and Magnet Trade.
