Former BJL director David Crawford, has headed back to Yorkshire to take an equity partnership at design consultancy ininc. He joins the board as managing partner.
Crawford went to BJL in 2007 as digital director, but the agency announced last month that they were parting company. The move to ininc reunites him with creative partner Nicola Edmondson, with whom he worked at The Tyas Design Company and Pilot (then part of the Principles Group). "I am extremely excited to be working with Nicola again. She is without doubt the most talented designer I have ever worked with across branding, packaging and print,” said Crawford. “I am particularly excited about the future at ininc as, during these difficult economic times, with budgets being restricted and the marketing pound needing to generate an ever greater return, most clients need a level of quality and certainty that can only really be achieved by a highly specialised and experienced consultancy which is able to be nimble, flexible and above all, creatively focused.” Ininc is based in Dewsbury and its clients include Dorma, Dawson Homes Group, Newhey and Sinclaire.
