Manchester-based affiliate marketing agency, R.O. Eye has been brought in by eBay to support its Partner Network.
It’s the first time such work has been outsourced by the internet giant.
R.O.Eye will support its UK in-house affiliate network, called the eBay Partner Network, by recruiting more affiliates through new and existing business models. It is the largest network outside of the US.

The scheme is relatively new to eBay, having launched in April, however, it builds on a previous affiliate programme which was brought in at the turn of the century.
"Over the last four years, R.O.EYE has grown to become the UK’s primary Outsourced Programme Management agency," said Mark Kuhillow, managing director of R.O.EYE.
"We were impressed by the agency’s in depth knowledge of the affiliate industry, as well as its innovative and bold approach to recruitment," added Minal Shah, eBay’s head of internet marketing in the UK.
R.O.Eye will be looking to increase the publisher base and look after affiliates' needs. They will also be required to distribute content, while retaining eBay's current level of sales and traffic.
