The Fresh Group has started off 2010 in expansive mood, making a number of key appointments from rivals agencies and revising turnover figures for the year ahead.
The Cheadle-based firm has recruited Tony Lynch from WRG and Rebecca Dewhurst from Liverpool's Clarity Creation.  Lynch: key appointment Lynch joins in the role of interactive account director and has been handed responsibility for the production management of the Fresh Interactive division. He boasts over 15 years of experience in the events industry.Dewhurst takes the reins of senior account manager and will now oversee key accounts such as Santander, a piece of business which the team was recently re-appointed to, and Marks & Spencer. In addition Luisa Harter and Lisa Wilson have signed up as account manager and senior account executive respectively. Harter joins from Events Marketing Solutions in Chester, while Wilson previously worked for TBWA. The new recruits take agency numbers up to 54, with MD Nick Porter stating that another six members of staff will also join in February. He commented: "Our commitment to recruiting the cream of industry specialists emphasises our unwavering ambition to become one of the UK’s leading creative communications agencies. “Fresh has never been in a stronger position and it’s our intention to expand further over the next 12 months by continuing to invest in highly talented individuals who can help drive our business forward.” On the back of recent wins, such as its appointment by The Co-operative, Fresh has now revised its turnover prediction for 2010, moving it up from £7.25m to £8.25m. www.freshwebsite.co.uk Something to add?
