England Squash is trying to push squash and racquetball as 'vibrant, modern and professional' sports and, as part of a new marketing drive, has appointed Bolton’s Fudge to help it achieve its aims.
Getting squashed: the old look Fudge has now been tasked with creating a fresh brand identity for the sports association, as well as building a new online presence. It is hoped that this will enable it to fully exploit the extra coverage the sport is achieving, in light of the fact that the England men's and women's national teams are the current World and European Champions. Fudge MD David Eccles called the job “a landmark brief” for the agency and “a fabulous project to work on.” The new identity will replace the current England Squash brand, which was developed six years ago. According to recent findings from Ipsos MORI 500,000 people play squash every month, making it the country’s fifth most popular organised sport amongst adults. www.fudgestudios.com Something to add?
