Funnel rebrands the relaunched Manchester Credit Union |

Following the ‘acquisition’ of credit unions in Beswick and Wythenshawe, East Manchester Credit Union has relaunched itself as the Manchester credit Union.
Funnel Creative has created the new design.
The work was awarded to Funnel without a pitch.
Credit unions are viewed as gradually coming back into ‘fashion’, especially given the increasing level of public concern with growing levels of indebtedness and loan sharks preying on the more vulnerable elements of poorer communities.
Credit unions in Ireland, Glasgow and Leeds have recently enjoyed increasing successes attracting new members and positive PR. Manchester Credit Union is keen to emulate its peers’ success.
Funnel decided to use a bee logo, a symbol said Bill Green, MD of the agency, of the city’s heritage and resonance with the positive aspects of the industrial revolution.
