North West drinks manufacturer, Vimto , has appointed a new head of marketing.
Neil Gibson joins from Fox’s Biscuits and he’ll be responsible for brand management, consumer and category insight and new product development. It comes at a key time for Vimto, which is in its centenary year. It recently brought in driven to carry out a strategic review of the brand as it looks to increase sales. This brand review will be one of the main tasks facing Gibson as he begins the new role. In the last few weeks there has been an increase in marketing activity from the company, T3D has just finished an internet viral game and they’ve also joined up with Key 103 for a series of summer street parties.
